The North Oldham Lady Mustangs track and field team competed in the State Track meet held in Lexington on Friday, and finished up on Saturday due to lightning and storms. They finished 4th in the state scoring 51.50 points. Leading the way was senior Raegan Franklin, who was the state champion in the pole vault soaring 12’3 setting a new 2A state record.
Other Mustangs that helped in the scoring were:
Sarah Rankin running at 57.39 in the 400 meters and placing 2nd as well as running 2:24.51 and placing 5th in the 800 meters.
The 4 x 200 Relay team of Ryan Bramer, Dani Monroe, Reagan Lacey, and Sarah Rankin placing 3rd.
The 4 x 400 Relay team of Dani Monroe, Ryan Bramer, Meredith Yurt, and Sarah Rankin placing 3rd.
Asia Franzel going 10-06.00 in the pole vault placing 3rd.
The 4 x 100 Relay team of Reagan Lacey, Jillian Bailey, Ryan Bramer , and Dani Monroe placing 6th.
Abby Schultz going 4-10.00 in the high jump placing 5th.
Jillian Bailey jumped 16-04.25 in the long jump placing 6th.
Natalie Gross 4-08.00 in the high jump placing 7th.
