The Rumble Through the Jungle was ran on Saturday with the best weather in many years. After two years of hard rain 3,200 runners enjoyed a cool, dry, fast course at the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve. For the North runners many personal records were set on the day. The top female runner for North Oldham was Katie Giles who placed 2nd over all with a time of 19:33.50.

The next Mustangs to cross the finish line were Rachel Gaynor, and Aurora Zaranko at 22:10.60 and 22:10.90 with Lydia Rose following closely posting a time of 22:12.10. Abigail Fadel ran 22:46.10, Lily Matthiessen 22:51.10, and Aspen Fain 22:54.80 rounded out the Mustangs who finished in the top 100 of 187 posted runners. The Lady Mustangs finished 9th over all as a team.
For the boys team Jake Pyles was the top Mustang runner coming in 37th place with a time of 17:38. Evan Patel ran a 17:53.90, Joseph Boyd 17:58, Skylar Taylor 18:09.30, Miles Gay 18:16.20, and Ethan Ransdell 18:25.80 all finishing in the top 100 out of 254 varsity runners. The boys team placed 8th overall on the day.
