Will Tarvestad State Champion Breaks KHSAA Record

North Oldham junior, Will Tarvestad, won the state championship in the 50 yard freestyle and became the first swimmer in the KHSAA Swimming and Diving Championship meet history to finish in less than 20 seconds, claiming the title in 19.94, sealing All-American honors. Tarvestad was the only swimmer from a public school to win a state

8th Region Scholar Athlete Award Winners

Congratulations to Mason Rice and Olivia Luzzio for being selected by the 8th Region Athletic Directors Association as Scholar Athletes. Mason and Olivia were both winners of the 29th District which includes North Oldham, South Oldham, Oldham County and Trimble County. Mason was also selected as the 8th Region Male Scholar Athlete of the Year

Swim Team Finishes 3rd in State Meet

The NOHS Swim Teams’ had a very successful state meet!  The girls were 5th out of 38 teams and the boys were 8th out of 42 teams!  Together, they combined for 3rd place! Will Tarvestad made the All-State First team.  Kelly Tichenor, Morgan Miller and Lilly Oglesby made the All-State Second Team. All-American Automatic times

Swim Teams Win Regional Title

The NOHS Swim Teams competed in the Regional Six Championship last weekend.  Out of 15 teams, the girls won by 251 points!  The boys were 2nd out of 15 teams!  And, they won the combined first place.  Meet records were set by Lilly Oglesby in the 200 IM and the 100 breast, and Will Tarvestad

Swimming Update

The NOHS Swim Teams’ competed against OCHS, SOHS and Eastern on Monday, 1/30/17.  The girls won! For the girls, Rachel Scherer won the 200 free.  Kelly Tichenor won the 50 free.  And the 200 free relay team of Emily Malanga, Martha Helsley, Jenna Wilkerson and Tichenor won! Placing second was Erika Puhakka in the 100

Winter Classic Invitational

The NOHS Swim Teams competed in the Winter Classic Invitational on Jan 28 in Shelbyville. Out of 20 girls teams, the girls were 2nd! Out of 20 boys teams, the boys were 4th! For the girls, Emily Malanga won the 50 free and the 100 breast. Jenna Wilkerson won the 100 free. The 200 medley

Swim Team – OC Cup Champions!

For the 7th year in a row, North’s swim teams are the Oldham County Champions! Both swim teams had outstanding swims.  Will Tarvestad broke school records and meet records in the 500 free (4:52.06) and the 200 IM (1:58.78).  Lilly Oglesby broke her own meet records in the 100 breast (1:06.52) and the 200 IM (2:10.06). 

NOHS Swim Team wins against Manual, SOHS and Atherton!

The NOHS Swim Teams swam against Manual, SOHS and Atherton on Tuesday, Jan 11.  The girls won, the boys were second and the combined teams won! For the girls, Lilly Oglesby won the 200 IM and the 100 free.  Kelly Tichenor won the 100 fly and was 2nd in the 100 breast.  Halle Stivers won

Swim Team takes 1st

North Oldham High School swim team swept the 2016 Holiday Classic by placing first in all three categories; combined, women, and men. They beat South Oldham, Oldham Co, Collins, Shelby Co, and Anderson Co.
