North Oldham’s Joe Boyle Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds

Congratulations to North Oldham’s Joe Boyle (class of 2017), as he was drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 Major League Baseball Draft by the Cincinnati Reds. After high school the 6″8′ right handed pitcher attended the University of Notre Dame. Once a Mustang, Always a Mustang!

Baseball Camps Cancelled

“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty we are facing with KHSAA and local regulations on gathering sizes, we will be erring on the side of caution and cancelling this summer’s baseball camps. Our plan will be to host some weekend day camps in the fall when regulations are loosened and host the camps

Baseball Wins 8th Regional Championship and Plays in the Semi-State on Saturday

Baseball 8th Region Champions!

The North Oldham Mustangs defeated Shelby County High School on Tuesday evening taking the 8th Region Championship. The final score was 12-8. This is their first Region title since 2012. The Mustangs will continue their post season run taking on Trinity High School Saturday at 7:00 PM at Eastern High School in the Semi-State game.

NOHS Baseball Gains Awards Leading to Regionals

The North Oldham baseball team, coming off a huge 9-8 victory over South Oldham giving them back to back District titles, today received several individual awards. Logan Beard was named All-District, Region Player of the Year, Junior East/West All-Star and KHSBCA All-State. Justin Doyle was named All-District, Senior East/West All-Star and KHSBCA All-State.
